Roasted and caramelized Marcona almonds in white chocolate coated with cocoa powder.

Chocolate Amatller from Barcelona was founded in 1797. The brand is probably the oldest in Spain. The company has always been run by the family. Antoni Amatller took over the company in 1872 and promoted contemporary artists such as the architect Puig i Cadafalch. He also designed the house of Casa Amatller in Barcelona, which was also the home of the entrepreneurial family. His passion for art also led to Chocolate Amatller being advertised on posters and trading cards. The posters by Penagos and Mucha and other art series are still in demand today. In 1972, Amatller was taken over by Chocolates Simón Coll, a company that has been making chocolate since 1840.
