The figs are dried and filled with a fine salt caramel cream. Then they are dipped in milk chocolate and coated. The fruity, sweet and salty flavor combination is individually packaged and protected.

The La Higuera company was founded in 1989 in a small Spanish village by Senator Valero and Felipa Nieva. They had the idea to combine figs with chocolate and developed the recipes for wonderful fig pralines. You can try one of them here.
