A whopping 86% wild cocoa from the rainforest of Bolivia is used in the chocolate bar . The Beni region is on the border with Brazil and is as big as Great Britain. However, only 420,000 people live there. The landscape is criss-crossed by water arms. A third of the population is indigenous. Only they know where the coveted fruits of the cocoa tree grow. You will be trained over the radio so that the cocoa beans will ferment well and dry properly. If the cocoa farmers deliver good quality, they can get top prices for their cocoa. A win-win situation for everyone involved.

The chocolate is made in Santa Cruz, the economic center of Bolivia, and sent from there to the world. David and Hernan from Chocolate Bau were exhibitors at our Chocolate Gourmet Festival 2018 and were able to convince many visitors of the quality of their chocolate.
