Bean-to-bar Schokolade aus Schottland

The chocolate is made from the rare Nacional cocoa beans from the Maranon Canyon made in Peru. Chocolate Tree pays cocoa farmers a premium price so that these rare and highly aromatic cocoa beans are preserved.

The chocolate won Bronze at the Academy of Chocolate 2015,
Bronze at the International Chocolate Awards Britain 2017

The packaging is made of recycled cardboard and the film is made from vegetable raw material and can be composted at home.

Chocolate Tree in Scotland has just moved to a new production facility in Dunbar on the east coast of Scotland. Alastaire Gower and Friederike Gower have been making chocolate bean-to-bar since 2009.

The 60% Peru Maranon Milk Chocolate is a good entry-level chocolate.
