Cantuccini with pistachios and walnuts from Piedmont go well with sweet dessert wines such as Vin Santo, Port and Marsala.

The almond pastry is not only originally from Prato, but still today, because the company Deseo is from Prato. The pastries are made without palm oil and exclusively with free-range eggs.

They are double baked, like rusks, first as elongated loaves and then sliced, which makes them crumbly and durable.

The founder of Deseo Francescon Pandolfini founded the company in 2001. He is a baker and driven by passion and quality. Having his own bakery was always his dream.
