Grand Cru Java (64%) - dark chocolate made from Criollo cocoa from Java

Grand Cru top-quality couverture made from noble Criollo fine cocoa beans from Java cocoa with a coffee note and a hint of tobacco

We only use selected types of beans for our creations. Our quality levels are based on the origin, region, variety and purity of the cocoa bean.

In order for a Beschle Chocolatier creation to receive Grand Cru status, the cocoa bean must come from a clearly defined cultivation area. We source our beans from selected cocoa regions worldwide. Due to the local soil conditions, the climate and the different sun intensity, each variety develops a characteristic aroma, which together with the in-house recipe makes each of our selections unique.

The cocoa beans for this chocolate are refined in the Felchlin company in Schwyz.
