The apricot ginger chutney is made from ripe apricots from the Corinthian region and refined with a touch of ginger. The fruits are carefully boiled down together with spices and poured into the glasses. No preservatives, colors, artificial flavors or stabilizers are used.
Chutney originally comes from Indian cuisine and is a spicy, sweet and sour, sometimes hot and spicy sauce. The variants are diverse. Chutneys can have completely different consistencies and ingredients, including pieces of fruit and vegetables. Only the English brought the chutneys to Europe in a modified form. They began to fill the sauces into glasses to extend the shelf life.
The apricot ginger chutney 80% fruit content goes perfectly with rice and poultry, with cheese or as a dip for grilled food. The chutney is made in Greece.
