Papua New Gu inea is the eastern half of the island of New Guinea, belongs to the continent of Australia. The western half, West New Guinea, belongs to Indonesia. The island is the second largest on earth.
Our chocolate comes from both sides of the island. New Guinea has the largest tropical forest in Australasia, the richest coral reefs in the world and the richest biodiversity outside the Amazon. The western part of the island has not yet been mapped due to the often low-hanging clouds in the impenetrable forest area. The high number of indigenous languages, over 1000, is also unique.
Cocoa is one of the country's most important exports. Discover the diversity of chocolate from this part of the world.
We reserve the right to exchange individual bars of the set for equal or higher quality depending on availability.
