The cocoa beans for this bar come from the Piura region the Northwest of the country near the border to Ecuador in Peru. The cocoa beans are known for their white color . The 70% chocolate has a color like milk chocolate, in spite of the high cocoa content. Piura is just one variety of cocoa that recently were discovered. In the meantime one speaks of 10 types of cocoa that differ genetically.

Here the whole milk variant with vanilla and 50% cocoa content.
