The cocoa beans for this bar come from the Piura region the Northwest of the country near the border to Ecuador in Peru. The cocoa beans are known for their white color . The 70% chocolate has a color like milk chocolate, in spite of the high cocoa content. Piura is just one variety of cocoa that recently were discovered. In the meantime one speaks of 10 types of cocoa that differ genetically.

The flavors of the cocoa taste refreshingly of lemons and a hint of nuts . The chocolate melts very pleasantly on the tongue.

The 70% Piura Select is a chocolate that is produced in the original country of Peru from the bean to the bar ( bean-to-bar ).
