The light and dark Tartufo hazelnut truffles in different flavors are made from the IGP hazelnuts from Piedmont or pistachios. Most of the nuts are finely ground and only some are roughly chopped. All ingredients are mixed, formed into a long line and cut into bite-sized pieces. All Tartufo are individually wrapped as candy.
The manufacturer of the sweet delicacy is the Antica Torroneria Piemontese , which is now in the 4th generation of the family. It was founded in 1885 by Giuseppe Sebaste.
