Amaretti Morbidi al Limone - soft almond cookies with lemon

traditional pastries from Siena

Handmade almond cookies with lemon from Tuscany based on classic almond paste, refined with a hint of bitter almonds. The almonds used are first-class and come from Apulia. Their essential oil determines the taste of the pastry. The taste is rounded off with some bitter almonds. Each Amaretto cookie is shaped by hand, baked in the oven until golden brown and sprinkled with powdered sugar to keep the cookies moist for as long as possible.

The cookies are gluten-free.

All the ingredients for the amaretti are carefully selected and processed with care to ensure consistently high quality. La Fabbrica del Panforte is located just outside Siena and was founded in 1994.
