Calisson cream is a delicious delicacy from Provence. Calissons were created on the occasion of the wedding of Duke of Anjou to make his bride smile, which succeeded. The ingredients are almonds, candied melon and orange. The taste is reminiscent of marzipan, but creamier. The spread tastes delicious and is easy to spread.

It goes wonderfully with toasted bread, waffles or you can just eat it out of the jar.
