The acacia honey comes from the first nature park of Märkische Schweiz in Brandenburg, which is 60km away from Berlin. The acacia is an excellent flowering pasture because it offers the bees a lot of nectar and pollen.
Jonas and Daniel Scholz are father and son and continue the family tradition of beekeeping as a sideline. They currently keep 70 bee colonies according to Bioland's criteria. With some of the bee colonies they wander around each year in order not only to obtain honey, but also to contribute to the pollination of the cultivated and flowering plants there.
Jonas and Daniel - the honey wanderers have received the Bioland certificate for organic-organic farming and thus meet the strict requirements for species-appropriate and sustainable beekeeping.
