The summer honey is collected in June and July on the Bavarian orchards in the Hersbrucker Alb. Orchard meadows are characterized by their irregularly distributed tall fruit trees of various types and ages.

Summer honey is a strong blossom honey and is characterized by a complex aroma with fine notes of blackberries, raspberries and herbs. The consistency is particularly creamy and the color is a bit darker compared to spring honey.

What is the difference between organic honey and commercial honey? The production of organic honey is subject to strict requirements. In contrast to a conventional beekeeping business, sugar water is largely dispensed with in the production of organic honey. This allows the bees to feed on their own honey in winter. The circumcision of the wings and artificial insemination of the queen, as well as the administration of chemical medication, are also prohibited.

Only wild and ecological plants are allowed to stand within a radius of 3km. The organic honey is not heated above 40 ° C in further processing.
