Chutney

The fig chutney is made from the dark purple Vavronas figs. The fruits are carefully boiled down together with spices and poured into the glasses. No preservatives, colors, artificial flavors or stabilizers are used.

Chutney originally comes from Indian cuisine and is a spicy, sweet and sour, sometimes hot and spicy sauce. The variants are diverse. Chutneys can have completely different consistencies and ingredients, including pieces of fruit and vegetables. Only the English brought the chutneys to Europe in a modified form. They began to fill the sauces into glasses to extend the shelf life.

The fig chutney 80% fruit content goes perfectly with grilled food, with warm goat cheese or as the icing on the cake for any cheese platter.
