Madagascar 70% Cioccolata Modica - coarsely ground chocolate

The coarse ground chocolate comes from the city of Modica in Sicily in Italy. The style of chocolate is therefore simply called Modica, or rough ground in English. The cocoa beans are not processed in classic conches, but on stone mills that do not grind so finely. The effect is desired. The traditional recipes have been reinterpreted and particular emphasis has been placed on the quality of the raw material, the cocoa.

The coarsely ground chocolate is also great for making a cup of hot chocolate. In our case here, it will taste deliciously like chocolate and fine pistachios. Just try it out, the cold season is just around the corner.
