The cocoa variety is rare and has a high proportion of criollo . Criollo is the best and classiest cocoa in the world.

A unique variety of cocoa has been grown in Guatemala over the centuries, combining the flavors of Criollo and Trinitario. The indigenous cocoa farmers of the FEDECOVERA cooperative in Guatemala have grown this cocoa variety in order to preserve the Maya heritage and to cultivate this extremely rare and regional, fine cocoa variety.

In the Zotter manufactory, the cocoa is refined with the new soft mist roasting and a first-class range of flavors is produced. The cocoa beans are conched for 25 hours.

The chocolate Zotter Labooko 75% Guatemala organic, fair, vegan has a fair trade share of 100%.
