Pure cocoa paste from the Chuncho original cocoa from the south of Peru. No sugar is added to the bar. Meybol Kakao wants to preserve the usprünglichen and highly aromatic cacao and has last year 50,000 cacao trees in the region Vraem cultivated. The region is one of the poorest in the country, so the virgin forest is being cleared to grow higher-yielding crops that can make money faster.

Meybol trains the cocoa farmers and pays them twice the usual price for cocoa, thus enabling the farmers to live a more socially just life. By buying a bar, they support their efforts.

The cacao has flavors of raisins, plums and hazelnut. The Chuncho cocoa has very little bitterness, little acidity and is very creamy.
