The chocolate is made in Madagascar at Chocolaterie Robert, which has been around since 1940. The cocoa beans come from a single plantation, the Domaine Mava. They are Fine Flavor Criollo-Trinitario cocoa beans . The bean-to-bar chocolate consists only of the beans from this plantation and cane sugar, nothing else.
