The Dominican Republic is one of the most important cocoa-growing countries when it comes to fine flavor cocoa. All three main types of cocoa are grown: Criollo, Trinitario and Forastero. Pralus has decided on a plantation that practices sustainable cultivation. The cocoa farmers mainly grow Trinitario.

The chocolate has spicy and fruity notes with light wood aromas and stays on the tongue for a long time.
