Bodrato Cioccolato is a purely Italian success story, namely of a true artisan chocolate factory founded in Genoa in the 1940s. Values that can still be felt today in the modern factory in Novi Ligure, where Paola and Fabio Bergaglio run the company with great passion in a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. The Piedmontese chocolate tradition meets the best cocoa beans in the world thanks to the Bean to Bar project. The production, positioned in the premiumChocolate market, is mostly (about 80%) destined for Italy.
The company was founded in 1943 in Genoa as a small artisan business and gradually transformed into an excellent pastry store and moved to the heartland of Pietmont. taken over in 2001 by the Bergaglio brothers and in 2014 production moved from Carpiata d'Orba (Alessandria) to Novi Ligure in a new 2100 m2 laboratory. Products produced include. Pralines, giandujotti, fillings and cremini and spreadable creams.
A Chocolate, which is not only a gourmet product, but also a sustainable product, focusing on the quality of raw materials and a distinctive style, with the first "Bean to Bar" bars. Bodrato offers beautiful, intricate packaging that is as enticing as the product, in different sizes and quantities, black or red.
