from fresh Vravonas figs from Attica Greece

The fig jam is made from an ancient and protected fig variety from the Attica region. In general, the fig is one of the oldest crops in the world and is grown throughout the Mediterranean. In ancient Greece, the fig was endowed with aphrodisiac properties. Maybe the fruits of today have remained, who knows?

Due to the high fructose content, only a little sugar and fresh lemon juice are added to the jam. The fruits are freshly and gently processed just a few days after harvest.

Enjoy this fig jam with a cheese platter, bread or just like that. Deligreece's extra 85% fig jam is made in Greece.
