Goodnow Farms kaufen den Kakao für diese Almendra Blanca Schokolade von einer 80 Jahre alten Familienfarm im mexikanischen Bundesstaat Tabasco. Die Hacienda Jesus Maria von Kakaobauer Vicente Cacep ist eine 70 Hektar große Farm mit 50 Hektar Kakao und 20 Hektar Kaffee, Orangen, Pimienta Gorda, Bananen und Rinder. Vicente sucht auf seiner Farm nach einem Gleichgewicht des Lebens und setzt auch gerettete einheimische Tiere, darunter Affen und Beuteltiere, wieder auf die Plantage frei.

Geschmacksprofil: kurze, schonende Röstung und heller, fruchtiger Geschmack der Almendra Blanca Bohne.
