Goodnow Farms Chocolate

After 7 years of preparation, Tom and Monica Logan began their adventure with their 225 year old farm and their own Bean-To-Bar Chocolate .
Tom owned a TV production company before his chocolate life and even won an Emmy Award for his Food Network show "The best thing I ever made". Monica was in real estate. They met in California and moved to the 225-year-old farm in Sudbury in 2010 with their two children. Their love of Chocolate began as a hobby in 2005. They traveled to countries in South and Central America, learned about cacao farmers and the important processes like fermentation and drying, and wanted to make their own Chocolate. There was enough room at Goodnow Farms to make their dream a reality.
Cocoa from ethically correct and transparent trade
Ethically correct and transparent trade is very important to them. Depending on the variety, they pay many times more than the world market price for the cocoa. They know their cocoa farmers and travel to their plantations to learn about their working methods. Only with excellent cocoa can really good Chocolate be produced. The numerous also international awards prove that they understand their craft, which they carry out with great love.
The limited release bars are chocolates made with rum from the Boston Harbour Distillery, for example, or with other special ingredients and cocoa beans.
Goodnow Farms Chocolate are not only among the best chocolates in the USA, but also in the whole world. Have fun tasting them!
