Tartufo Stracciatella - white hazelnut truffle with chocolate pieces

from the Piedmont 1 piece

The Italian truffles are made from the famous IGP hazelnuts, the Tonda Gentile from Langhe. They are mixed and moulded with sugar, cocoa butter and cocoa powder and then packed in small, bite-sized pieces.

The Antica Torroneria Piemontese was already founded in 1885 by Giuseppe Sebaste and is now run by the family in the 4th generation. Besides the Tartufi, other products such as Torrone and Gianduja are made from the hazelnuts.

The Tartufo Stracciatella is individually wrapped and therefore ideal  companion for coffee or just as a snack.
