The cocoa for this chocolate comes from the northeast of Peru. It has a slight acidity and aromatic notes of pineapple. Donne Elvira looks for different varieties of cacao that grow on different plantations. This way you get to know diversity and appreciate it much more. Chocolate is a wonderful product. And it is important to understand that the real chocolate that comes out of the Easter Bunny or Santa Claus. Rather, chocolate is a product rich in aromas and flavors that are strongly tied to the soil where the cacao grows.

To preserve the original flavor, the cocoa beans are not roasted and are only coarsely ground. This style of chocolate is very famous in Sicily and is called "Modica", after the city.

The chocolate is vegan.

At the International Chocolate Awards European bars 2014 the chocolate won bronze.

This bar is 70% Peru Amazonico cocoa and cane sugar, nothing else.
