The Bean-To-Bar chocolate Lacrì 76% Arriba Manabi Cento Grammi from Guido Castagna consists of only three ingredients: Cocoa beans, cane sugar, cocoa butter and a little sunflower lecithin. That's all. A good chocolate does not need more ingredients. The Arriba cocoa beans come from Manabi in Ecuador.
The chocolate is gluten-free.
Guida Castagna has also been a Bean-To-Bar manufacturer for some time, i.e. it processes the cocoa beans itself right up to the bar and influences the taste with its processing. This begins with the sifting of the cocoa beans over the roasting, the wind separation of the cocoa beans from the shell, up to the grinding and conching of the cocoa mass. The duration of the conching time also influences the taste, of course.
Packed is the 100g bar in a chocolate-colored box made of high quality cardboard.
