Rio Napo Grand Cru forest chocolate enchants with its fine note of delicately melted caramel, the freshness of creamy whole milk from the Swiss Alps and a mildly spicy hint of forest honey. The traditional processing of exquisite ingredients by our Swiss chocolatiers reveals the real secret of this chocolate: Cacao Nacional from the rainforest of Ecuador. It has been cultivated by Kichwa Indians in small forest gardens along the Rio Napo for generations. There, ancient, gnarled trees bear the particularly aromatic fruits with the unique taste. "GEO protects the rainforest" supports the farming families in order to secure this sustainable use of the rainforest.
