Die extra dunklen Trüffel werden aus den IGP Haselnüssen Tonda Gentile aus dem Langhe im Piemont hergestellt. Die Nuss hat dem Piemont zu Weltruhm verholfen und den Produkten zu ihrem außergewöhnlichen Geschmack. Die Nüssen werden fein gemahlen oder in Stücke gebrochen und mit Zucker, Kakaomasse und Kakaobutter zu einer Masse verarbeitet, die dann in Form gebracht und verpackt wird.

Die Firma Antica Torroneria Piemontese wurde schon 1885 von Giuseppe Sebase gegründet und heute von der Familie in 4. Generation betrieben. Nach wie vor wird viel Wert auf die Qualität der Produkte und die Tradition gelegt.

Jedes Tartufo extra nero ist einzeln verpackt als perfekter Begleiter zum Cappucino oder anderen Getränken.
