This bean-to-bar chocolate by Kay Keusen from Taucherli Schokolade from near Zurich is made from cocoa beans from Cameroon. The cooperative grows cocoa sustainably and is paid fairly for it.

Kay Keusen processes the cocoa very carefully and gently. In this case it works as follows:

  • Roasting: 35 minutes
  • Conching time: 72 hours
  • Vintage: 2019

Jan Kessler from Basel founded his company Cameroots to help a cooperative in Cameroon to guarantee its members a stable income. The price that the members of the Cameroots Cooperatives receive does not fluctuate, but is fixed between the parties and is well above the world market price.
