Colombia 70% dark chocolate Betulia Ocho

Hacienda Betulia Antioquia

The cocoa comes from Colombia from the Hacienda Betulia Antioquia and is called Betulia Ocho (8). The cacao has a high Criollo content.

The cacao was:

  • fermented for 5 days in 5 kg micro-lot batches
  • turned six times
  • the fermentation process was controlled by ZOTO
  • Drying 14 days in the air on wood
  • Roasting at 130°C for 18 minutes

  • Gold International Chocolate Awards Belgium 2019
  • Silver International Chocolate Awards Europe 2019

The Chocolate has 70% cocoa content.

  • 65% cocoa
  • 5% cocoa butter
  • 30% beet sugar

The Chocolate has a relatively light color and notes of thyme, forest herbs, flowers and peanuts.
