Peru Maranon dark milk chocolate 80% sugarfree - sugar-free dark milk chocolate

The cocoa beans for this Bean-To-Bar chocolate come to Peru from the area around the Maranon River in the north of Peru in the Cajamarca region. Until a few years ago it was believed that this type of cocoa was extinct. Around 2011, cocoa trees with the rare light-colored cocoa pods were found by chance. The aromatic beans not only have fruit and floral aromas, but also aromas of nuts. Their tannin content is very low, which affects their color. For this reason, they are predominantly white and have a delicate, creamy taste.

For this reason we have selected them for this high-proof milk chocolate. Without added sugar.
