Anh Em Cacao Co. wurde 2017 von den Schulfreunden Truong Minh Thang und Nguyen Duy Thong gegründet, die eine Leidenschaft für Kakao und Schokolade teilen. Anh bedeutet soviel wie "großer Bruder", Em "kleines Geschwisterchen". Zusammen forschten sie an der mikrobiellen Artenvielfalt und den Prozessen nach der Ernte, um das Geschmackspotenzial der Kakao-Bohnen zu optimieren. Dieser Kakao bildete die Grundlage für einige der preisgekrönten Schokoladen, die Truong und Nguyen mit ihrer Marke Tbros zu produzieren begannen. Stolz auf die Qualität, die sie gemeinsam mit den Bauern erreichen konnten, und in dem Bestreben, die Erzeuger und ihre Gemeinschaften weiter zu unterstützen, exportierte Anh Em diese Bohnen nach Europa und in den Rest der Welt.
