Carenero 70% dunkle Schokolade aus Venezuela

Ein Kakao, der im Bundesstaat Sucre im Norden Venezuelas angebaut wird, gleich in der Nähe des Hafens Carenero von dem früher die Bohnen verschifft wurden und der dieser Schokolade den Namen gibt.
Bei den Bohnen handelt es sich um Criollo-Trinitario-Hybriden aus Barlovento. Sie werden von Kleinbauern geerntet, die sie auch fermentieren und trocknen, bevor sie verschifft werden.

Diese Schokolade hat einen langen Abgang, mit nussigen, kakaohaltigen Aromen und sowie einem Hauch von Adstringenz.
