100% Brazil Forastero Cocoa with Cocoa Nibs chocolate

Dark chocolate with cocoa nibs from Brazil

100% dark chocolate with cocoa nibs with cocoa from Forastero Cocoa beans are grown on the Fazenda Monte Alegre plantation in the Bahias region of Brazil.

In April 2009 Bertil Akesson and his Brazilian partner acquired the historic farm Fazenda Semper, which stands in the middle of the Brazilian rainforest. There the traditional cocoa variety "parasinho" of the Forastero cocoa is grown, which made Bahia famous at the beginning of the 20th century.

The 100% Forastero Cacoa and Cocoa Nibs Brazil Fazenda Semper Firme has a woody and earthy taste. When consuming the dark chocolate, a light hint of autumn flavor, tobacco and the local Pitanga plant unfolds on the tongue.
