The chocolate Grand Cru Java East Highland with a cocoa content of 64% is conched for 72 hours; refined in the traditional longitudinal conche. The cocoa from the eastern highlands of Java in Indonesia is of the noble Criollo variety, the rarest of all cocoa varieties.

Harmonious combination of rich cocoa with a pronounced coffee note and a hint of tobacco. The traditionally gentle manufacturing process brings the intense fruit acid and the aroma of blackberries to full development. The long finish is characterized by sweet dried figs and is rounded off by a strong, very pleasant note of peat.

The packaging is quite large at 15 x 15 cm, but the board is cast in a thin layer, which makes it even more enjoyable elevated.

We recommend Grand Cru Java Chocolate 64% East Highland Criollo with red wine that has been aged in wooden barrels.
