The Tobago Estate Chocolate is 70% the first chocolate from the island of Tobago , the sister island of Trinidad . It tastes soft and caramel with notes of red cherries and dried fruits. The cocoa is a typical Trinitario.

The chocolate was awarded the coveted Great Taste Award 2011 + 2014 in London.

The beans come from a plantation founded in 2004 by Tobago Estate Chocolate founder Duane Dove . It took six years before the fruit of the labor, the cocoa beans, could be "harvested". The beans are processed by the master chocolatier Francois Pralus in his factory in Roanne, France.

If you are on vacation in Trinidad or Tobago, you shouldn't miss a chocolate tour of the Tobago Estate Chocolate's cocoa plantation. Very often it is run directly by the boss Duane Dove. You can tell immediately that he has a passion for chocolate!

Ein schokoladiger Traum

Ich habe schlecht gewählt. Ich hatte gehofft, dass der Verzehr von mehr Zartbitterschokolade meinen übermäßigen Genuss, stoppen würde.
Diese 70% Single Estate aus Tobago ist eine so köstliche, cremige Schokolade , dass ich nicht aufhören konnte zu essen. Eine echte "Wow"-Schokolade.
Es klingt verrückt, sie als "wirklich schokoladig" zu beschreiben, aber das ist sie.

Ein gute Milchschokolade mit zartem Schmelz und feinem Schokoladegeschmack im Abgang. Jedoch für 5 Sterne reicht es für meinen Geschmack nicht ganz.
