Akessons Chocolate with 75% Forastero cocoa from the Fazenda Monte Alegre plantation in Brazil with pieces of bourbon coffee beans. The chocolate has expressive flavors of wood, autumn fragrance and the local fruit pitanga.

The Diego Badaró family of growers have succeeded in growing a rare Forastero cocoa variety called Parasinho . The cocoa beans grow in the Mata Atlantica, the primeval forest with the highest biodiversity on earth. The Akesson family has owned this plantation since the 1970s and grows all plants sustainably.

Prizes and awards from the Akessons 75% Forastero Cocoa with Coffee Nibs:
The pure chocolate without coffee was awarded gold in 2011 by the Academy of Chocolate in London in the category "best dark bar" (best dark chocolate bar ).
