Bukonzo Coffee - 70% dark chocolate with coffee

Bean-To-Bar Chocolate from Uganda

A breakfast alternative. That's how Latitude Craft Chocolate describes its own 70% dark Bean-To-Bar chocolate with coffee from Latitude 0 in Uganda's capital, Kampala.

The chocolate has only three ingredients: Cocoa butter, milk powder and cane sugar. The Arabica coffee comes from the Rwenzori Mountains in Uganda.

The packaging is yellow with a leafy branch and flowers embellished. Almost naive painting. The inside describes the manufacturing process from cocoa bean to bar.

The chocolate is made in Africa from cocoa beans that come right from the neighborhood of more than 2,500 smallholder families. Latitude Craft Chocolate is one of the B Corporations, moving away from shareholder to stakeholder.
