The marzipan from Sawade is made from sweet and bitter almonds from the Mediterranean in the traditional way. The mass is slowly roasted in open copper kettles. The marzipan mass with 100% raw mass quality has an almond content of 52%, which means that the sugar content is relatively low.

The finished loaves are dipped in dark chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 60%. The marzipan log is wrapped in golden tin foil and cling film to keep it fresh as long as possible.
