Diese dunkle Schokolade mit Gewürzen ist preisgekrönt. Die Schokolade 60% Basque Chilli & Rosmary von Dos Estaciones ist eine BIO Schokolade. Die Kakaobohnen kommen von der Farm Fundo Qoya aus Chazuta in San Martin in Peru.

Die Schokolade wird in Beilngries in Bayern von Dos Estaciones handwerklich hergestellt. Die Tafel ist:

  • Bean-to-Bar Schokolade
  • Single Origin Schokolade
  • Bio Schokolade
  • Single Farm Schokolade

Dos Estaciones hat bei den European Bean to Bar Chocolate Awards 2021-22 der International Chocolate Awards Gold gewonnen.

Der Kakao aus Chazuta wird nach der Regenzeit zwischen April und November geerntet. Das Gebiet liegt 27km südlich von Tarapoto und wird vom Fluß Huallaga durchlaufen. Die Region ist nur wenig besiedetlt, es leben ca. 11 Einwohner auf jedem Quadratkilometer. In Deutschland leben im Vergleich dazu 235 Einwohner pro Quadratkilometer. (Quelle Wikipedia)
