Fu Wan Chocolate is a family business in Taiwan in the south of the country in Ping Tung County about 20 km east of the South China Sea. Warren Hsu is a chef and sommelier and has transferred some steps from wine making to chocolate making. Obviously successful, as you can see from the numerous awards.

This chocolate was enhanced with Tie-Guan-Yin tea (the Iron Goddess of Mercy). Oolong tea is probably one of the most famous oolong teas in the world. It is semi-fermented.

The cacao beans come from the Ping Tung region, partly from his own resort. Waren Hsu processes the cacao beans from bean to bar on his resort with his own fermentation rooms and drying facilities.
