The dark chocolate with 70% cocoa content and sea salt is made from cocoa beans by a sustainable cooperative in the jungle of Pangoa in Peru .

Mark Gerrits processes the cocoa beans into a bean-to-bar chocolate in his factory in Santiago . The list of ingredients is very short: only cocoa beans and cane sugar from sustainable cultivation and sea salt from Cáhuil.

The salt from Cáhuil has been extracted from the cold streams of the Humboldt River for centuries.

Óbolo Chocolate is one of the B corporations and has committed itself to sustainability, transparency and fairness in the manufacture of products. This also includes fair payment and ethical treatment of all people who are involved in the entire process.
